5. Content Moderation & Enforcement

We may review, remove, restrict access to, or delete User Content, and we may suspend or terminate accounts, where we determine (in our discretion) that content or behavior violates our Terms of Service or is harmful to other users or us. This includes, without limitation, content or conduct involving:

• Spam or misleading content
• Abusive language, harassment, or bullying
• Hateful or abusive content / hate speech
• Sexual content or inappropriate images / nudity
• Violent or graphic content
• Harmful or dangerous acts
• Child abuse, exploitation, or endangerment
• Suicide, self-harm, or eating disorders
• Promotion of terrorism or violent extremism
• Misinformation or scams (that cause harm)

6. Retention & Deletion

We retain personal information and User Content for as long as necessary to provide the Service and for legitimate business purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data.

When an account deletion request is processed, we will delete or anonymize associated data such as profile information and uploaded photos/videos, subject to the retention exceptions below.

Data Retention Exceptions: We may retain certain information where required by law, regulatory obligations, fraud prevention, tax reporting, dispute resolution, or other legitimate business purposes (for example, transaction records and payment history), and we will limit retained data to the minimum necessary.

7. Your Privacy Rights & Choices

You can:

• Access, update, or correct certain information within your account settings
• Opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link (where applicable)
• Request deletion of your account

Account Deletion (In-App): You may request deletion directly within the Conduit mobile application by navigating to Profile → Settings → Delete Account and following the prompts. Verified deletion requests are processed within 7 business days.

8. Photos, Images, and User-Generated Content

If you choose to upload photos or other images, they may be displayed to other users as part of your profile and your use of the Service. You control what you upload and share.

Profile Visibility: Information you include in your profile (including your profile picture and other images you upload) may be visible to other users of the Service for connection and marketplace purposes.

Image Metadata & Biometrics: We do not use your uploaded photos to identify you through biometric or facial recognition technology. We may remove or limit certain metadata from uploaded images as part of normal processing and to help protect user privacy.

We may remove or restrict access to images and other User Content that violate our Terms of Service or our safety rules. Repeated or severe violations may result in account suspension or a ban.

9. Legal Requests & Protection of Rights

We may access, preserve, and disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to:

• Comply with applicable law, legal process, or governmental requests
• Enforce our Terms of Service and other agreements
• Detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues
• Protect the rights, property, or safety of users, the public, or Conduit Connections LLC

10. Child Safety

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it.

We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or exploitation. We may remove content, suspend or ban accounts, and report suspected violations to appropriate authorities.

11. Third-Party Links & Services

The Service may allow you to link to or interact with third-party services (for example, by adding YouTube links). Your interactions with third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties.

12. Location Information

If you enable location features, we may collect and use location information to provide Service functionality. Location collection depends on your device settings and permissions. Unless you grant us background location permission, we collect location information only while you are actively using the app.

13. Cookies, Analytics & Tracking Technologies

We may use cookies (on our website), SDKs, log files, and similar technologies to operate the Service, understand usage, improve performance, and help maintain safety and security (for example, fraud prevention). You can often control cookies through your browser settings and certain app data collection through your device settings.

14. Business Transfers

If Conduit Connections LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. Where required by law, we will provide notice of a material change in ownership or use of your personal information.
